Pat Falvey Irish and Worldwide Adventures
Pat Falvey is one of Ireland’s foremost mountaineers, adventurers and explorers. He operates a variety of speciality holidays and courses. Walking tours vary from week long holidays and holistic breaks, to day walks.

Dingle Sailing Centre
Dingle Sailing Centre aims to foster and develop interest in sailing through sailing courses and other activities, in conjunction with the Dingle Sailing Club.

Courses run by the Dingle Sailing Centre are offered from April to September.

ISA approved courses, Levels 1, 2 and 3 for youth under the age of 18. The instructors are all qualified, experienced sailors. Courses run from Monday to Friday, from 10am to 5pm each day with a one hour lunch break.

The Centre aims to make the learning of sailing a fun, rewarding and exciting experience, set in the waters of Dingle Harbour. Boats and other equipment are provided. Adult courses are also available by request.
Powerboat Courses Level 1, National Powerboat Certificate, Safety Boat, Dive Cox and Advanced Powerboating. Kayaks are available to explore the harbour for a nominal sum.

Dingle Marina Dive Centre
Scuba diving, boat trips and training are offered, with dive sites around Dingle and the Blasket Islands. All levels of training are provided, including try dives, with no experience necessary.

Dingle Marina Dive Centre also arranges kayaking, rock climbing and hill walking.

Workmen’s Rowing Club
Workmen’s Rowing Club was established in 1920 at Rien Pier, Ross Castle, Lough Lein, Killarney, with a strong ethos of participation and enjoyment for members. The Club’s members are aged from 11 years upwards. It teaches all aspects of rowing, including traditional Killarney 6’s, sliding/sculling, coastal and gig. Members participate in many of the Country’s regattas. Rowing training continues throughout the year with an emphasis on the Club’s indoor gym at winter time. New members and visiting members are welcome. The Club colours are white with a red stripe.

Fossa Rowing Club
Fossa Rowing Club is a sports and social club based in the community of Fossa. The open club, founded in 1893, always welcomes new members. It is involved in many different types of rowing, the most popular being the local Killarney Sixes. There is one annual regatta for these boats, usually held on the first Sunday of July, where races take place against the other five clubs on the lake. This Regatta has been held for over 230 years and it still stirs great interest amongst locals.

The Club colours are red vests and black shorts.

Most activities involve rowing or fundraising for rowing, but the Club also organises local social events such as Senior Citizens parties, Christmas parties, participate in Killarney’s St Patrick’s Day Parade and fundraise for local charities.

Black Ridge Mountaineering offer you walking, hiking, and adventure activities all around Ireland.

Every grade of walking and climbing are available to you and you will have a fully trained and experienced instructor with you.

Cappanalea Outdoor Education Centre
Cappanalea outdoor adventure centre provides training in adventure sporting activities. Mountaineering, mountain skills, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, orienteering, team challenges, adventure sports, summer adventure holidays, summer course and day activities.

Go Visit Ireland has been operating walking holidays in Ireland since 1994. It has a team of experienced guides throughout Ireland, many of whom have a second language.

Tralee Bay Sailing School
Tralee Bay Sailing School offer courses in sailing, kayaking and powerboating. The centre is affiliated to the ISA and many certificate courses are on offer from beginners through to advanced. There is an option of day courses and trips, evening courses, weekend courses, individual lessons or weekly lessons for a set number of weeks.

All equipment is provided, including wetsuits and buoyancy aids along with tuition and safety cover by fully qualified instructors. Families may also try out the family fun initiative which offers three hours of fun.

Dingle Bay Charters Sailing
Experienced skippers can charter the (6 berth) 35’ Beneteau Oceanis yacht based at Dingle Yacht Marina.

Dingle Bay is a superb sailing area with many sheltered anchorages, magnificent scenery and interesting islands. An abundance of seals, puffins and other wildlife will be encountered on your cruise around the Bay and Islands. Cruise across to Valentia Island, explore the Blasket Islands or sail away to the many other beautiful anchorages up and down the coast.

Derrynane Sea Sports
Derrynane Sea Sports is a family run business. On offer are sail boats for hire and sailing lessons, windsurfing hire and tuition, open mould recreational canoes, body boarding and snorkelling. They also provide water skiing, wake boarding and knee boarding.

School groups are taken off season. The childrens morning kids camp is hosted from Monday to Thursday finishing with a barbeque for July and August. Ages 7 – 12 years old. Derrynane Sea Sports also have surf boards for hire and row boats.

Ballinskelligs Watersports
At Ballinskelligs Watersports the visitor can choose between a day trip by boat to the Skellig Islands, diving at the Skellig Islands or sea angling. The day trip lands at Skellig Island for approximately 2 hours and leaves from Ballinskelligs Pier at 11am daily. A non landing trip around the island leaves at 3.30 each afternoon in July and August.

Sea angling and high speed adventure trips to Skelligs are also on offer, taking approximately 25 minutes each way. The boat is certified by the Department of the Marine.

KerryClimbing is a guiding and adventure activity company based in Munster.
It covers all the mountainous areas of southern Ireland, from the Comeraghs of Waterford to the Galty mountains of Tipperary and all the mountains and peninsulas of Cork and Kerry.. the Dingle, Iveragh,and Beara.

Freedom Kiters
Freedom Kiters is a professionally run school that offers Kitesurfing lessons and equipment rental in Co Kerry. Courses range from beginner to advanced and are conducted in 2 hour sessions.

For first time kitesurfers there is a 10 hour ‘Zero to Hero’ course. For curious types there is an affordable ‘Taster’ course. A ‘Refresher Course’ is also offered for riders who feel a little rusty on theory or technique. With 1-to-1 instruction the IKO course can be tailored to each student’s needs. Groups can also be accommodated.

Instructors are IKO certified and insured. Kites and safety equipment is new and each student will receive an IKO certificate card on completion.

Good teaching conditions are enjoyed in a shallow flat water lagoon, and at the spacious Banna Beach, which is patrolled by lifeguards.

Kenmare Bay Diving
Kenmare Bay Diving is a small, friendly dive centre. Offering daily beginner try a dive sessions, dive trips for all levels of experienced divers, training through PADI and IANTO, equipment sales and servicing, air fills and boat trips for non divers.

Waterworld Castlegregory
Waterworld’s Harbour House and Leisure Centre is located near the Maharees Islands. The Brandon Cliff face and the Blasket Islands offer some of the best diving in Ireland, from superb scenic dives to wreck dives. The Maharees have their own resident pod of playful dolphins and they can be frequently seen cavorting in front of Harbour House. At times, they swim with divers around the islands.

Kitesurf Ireland
Kitesurf Ireland kite lessons start at €15 for an hour. It caters for kids, adults and groups. The complete course is designed to bring people from complete beginners to competent kitesurfers in 6/8 hours with strong emphasis on safety, responsibility and most of all action packed, adrenaline fuelled fun. West Coast Surf School offer surf lessons to all ages (8 +). There is an option of one off lessons, 3 lesson package or 5 day course. There is a kid’s camp (Monday – Friday). Also on offer are weekend packages and corporate sessions.

Free transport is provided from Dingle. Lessons are now available through Irish. West Coast Surf School travel to either Inch Strand or Brandon Bay (Kilcummin Strand).

West Coast Surf School are qualified and experienced, and a fun time is guaranteed.

Caters for all group sizes and abilities. Runs a range of trips and courses, from adventure days to guided trips to family fun and training courses.

Beara Outdoor Adventures
Beara Outdoor Adventure organises guided tours, exclusively tailored to the customer’s request. Offering hillwalking, canoeing, climbing, mountain biking, road biking and jeep tours.

Star Outdoors Adventure Centre
Star Outdoors adventure centre is located on the waterfront of Kenmare Bay. We provide a range of land and water based activities suitable for families, couples and groups of all ages, under the supervision of our highly qualified instructors.

Our water activities include sailing, kayaking, canoeing, pedal boats, water skiing, water trampoline and slide. Land activities include a childrens playground, archery, orienteering, team challenges and a soccer pitch. Our 50 pax cruise boat, Star of Kenmare, provides guided one hour scenic trips on Kenmare Bay which has the richest marine habitat in Western Europe, sailings throughout the day.

Valentia Island Sea Sports & Adventure Centre
Valentia Island Sea Sports, located on the seafront in Knightstown, offers a wide variety of summer camps for all age groups, from four to sixteen years old over the months of June, July and August. These camps include, kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling, crab fishing, water volleyball, sailing and of course, lots of fun and games on our twenty-five foot water trampoline.

We are I.S.A-approved levels one, two and three. Sailing and powerboating courses are also run throughout the summer months. Kayaking and water trampoline are also open to the public daily, with wetsuits for hire. All activities and public hours are fully supervised by qualified instructors.
