Donegal Bay Waterbus
A one and fifteen minute cruise aboard a luxurious 160-seater cruiser. Take a cruise along one of the most historical and scenic areas of Ireland. Views of Donegal Abbey (a 15 Century Franciscan Abbey), Magherbeg Abbey (ruins of a 15 Century Friary), Ballyboyle (former seat of the O’Boyle clan), Hassans (an embarking point for passenger ships to Canada and North America up to the early 19 Century), Saint Ernan’s where one can view the famine causeway, Murvagh (home of the famous Donegal Golf Links), a seal colony where seals playfully surround the waterbus and scenic views of the Bluestack mountains.
The Bus itself is powered by a 240hp jet engine; this jet engine smoothly propels the waterbus around Donegal bay. The bus seats 160 passengers and 2 staff. The 2 staff is Billy the captain, and an assistant to work in the shop in the rear of the boat.
