Ionadsiul, Glencolmcille, Co Donegal

Our rooms come in single, double, twin and family rooms all with ensuite bathrooms. All linen is provided free of charge. There is a communal kitchen, dining, and lounge area for our residents’ use. We also provide free broadband internet access for all our guests.

We are situated at the western extremity of the Sliabh Liag peninsula, in the wonderfully remote parish of Glencolmcille. In a landscape of timeless beauty lies the remnants of ancient past-pagan and Christian, rooted in quiet contemplation on hillside, valley, bog and isle.

The area hosts approximately eighty documented archaeological sites spanning a period of 5000 years including important examples of virtually all monument types known nationally.

Situated at the western extremity of the Slieve League (Sliabh Liag) Peninsula in the South-West of County Donegal, lies the wonderfully remote parish of Glencolmcille (Gleann Cholmlle/Glencolumbkille). Glencolmcille can be reached by the following routes:

Ballyhoura Mountain Lodges

Ballyhoura Mountain Lodges in Ballyorgan, County Limerick are 9 four star, three bed, detached, timber lodges. On-site facilities include a picnic area with table and chairs and activity areas for children.

The architect-designed homes are spacious, with a unique character that compliments their mature woodland setting and are a real home from home. Built by local craftsmen using local wood and red sandstone, the homes are furnished using the materials of businesses and artists in nearby villages: the suites and curtains in Ballyorgan, the beds in Ballylanders, the built-in furniture in Kilfinane and Ballylanders, the silk paintings in Kilavullen and the nature photographs in Glenroe. The Lodges have been in existance for over 12 years and underwent and extensive refurbishment programme in 2012 & 2013 formerly Ballyhoura Forest Homes now re branded Ballyhoura Mountain Lodges.

The holiday homes all have three bedrooms, open plan living rooms and fully equipped kitchens. They also include satellite TV, DVD player and stove. Linen and towels are provided. A highchair and cot are available on request.

The homes are situated in Ballyhoura country which is renowned for its authentic rural living experience, with its wealth of built and living heritage and world class facilities for recreation in the countryside, and situated at the base of the acclaimed Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Park. The location is also central for touring Cork, Limerick, Kerry, Clare, Tipperary and Waterford.

Pontoon House

Pontoon House is a magnificent traditional stone dormer bungalow, situated on a 1 acre elevated site overlooking Lough Cullin and nestled between the Nephin and Ox Mountains just outside Pontoon, County Mayo. The house enjoys views that are some of the most scenic and spectacular in Ireland. This purpose built 4-star self-catering accommodation offers all modern luxuries together with comfort and style and is an ideal base for exploring County Mayo and other areas in the West of Ireland including counties Clare, Galway, Sligo and Donegal.

Beach Haven Studio – Sleeps 2/4

Beach Haven Studios are a perfect option for visitors who want to stay in the heart of Tramore and close to the beach and town centre and be somewhat independent. Families with children are welcome and everything possible will be done to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. Tramore has a special emphasis on Family holidays with loads of local attractions and fun things to do for everyone.

The studios are tastefully decorated with attention to detail and your comfort in mind. The Beach Haven Studios are the best of both worlds because you have the convenience of being able to prepare your own meals or pop next door to the Beach Haven B&B for breakfast if you like.

The studios comprise of a double bed with a fold out sofa, kitchen, dining and lounge area. All bedlinen and towels are provided. The kitchenettes have a fridge, microwave, toaster and 2 burner stove. There is a large flat screen TV and the bathroom is fitted with power shower.
