Wicklow, fondly known as ‘The Garden of Ireland’, boasts a landscape of rolling green hills, wild flowers, mountain peaks, lakes and woodland met by an impressive coastline of sandy beaches and seaside villages. Its location in the Southeast makes it the perfect base for visiting the many attractions within the county and for travelling further south. Only an hour from Dublin City Centre, visitors can also spend a day shopping and taking in the sights of the capital.
These beautiful 4* self-catering cottages are traditional in style offering a taste of real Ireland. Cut stone, timber beams, rustic fencing, wood burning stoves combine with modern facilities to give the visitor the best of both worlds. The rooms are elegant and spacious with stunning views from almost every window. The surrounding parkland is peaceful and tranquil. Horses graze, deer ramble down from the hills, squirrels scramble the trees and every morning begins with the chorus of birds.
All the houses have spacious living areas, fully fitted kitchen and dining area set in a bay window. The floors in the living areas are laid with terracotta tiles and bedrooms are carpeted. Each house has a patio or balcony area for relaxing.
There is a choice of 3 accommodation types to choose from:
Cottages: Two-storey cottages containing open plan sitting room with dining area, fully fitted kitchen and 3 bedrooms, one double and two twin bedrooms. Two bedrooms have ensuite facilities and there is a third bathroom downstairs.
Bungalows: Single-storey cottages containing open plan sitting room, dining area, fully fitted kitchen and 2 bedrooms, one double and the other containing a double and single bed. The main bedroom has en suite facilities and there is a second bathroom.
Apartments Either on the ground or first floor, containing open plan sitting room, dining area, fully fitted kitchen and 2 bedrooms, one double and one with 3 single beds. The double bedroom has ensuite facilities and there is a second bathroom.
