This island on the southern Kerry coast is extremely picturesque and a real haven for wild life. As such it is a great favourite with hikers and bird watchers as well as families who come to enjoy the lovely sandy coves and beaches. There is plenty to do on the island including sea angling with charters available from Knightstown, kayaking, sailing, power boating, scuba diving, rock climbing and abseiling. There are a number of marked walks and trails through the natural sights of the island such as Geokaun - the highest mountain on Valentia island at 888 feet which has 360 degree panoramic views of the Skellig Islands, Bray Head, Atlantic Ocean, Blasket Islands, Dingle Peninsula, McGillycuddy Reeks and Valentia Harbour.
These holiday homes have a living room with open fire, an open plan kitchen / dining area with doors on to a patio area. On the first floor there is a two triple bedroom (a double and a single en suite), a twin and a family bathroom. There is an onsite toddler’s play area.
