Toormore House is a beautiful house located in the most south- westerly part of Ireland, close to the village of Schull. Situated in an idyllic location in front of the Atlantic Ocean with wonderful sea views from every room, along with views of the world famous Fastnet Lighthouse and a 4000 year old stone tomb this property is in a unique setting with an intimate sandy beach located across from the house.
The main house is cozy and comfortable. It has two floors and features open fires in every corner, handmade oak and pine furniture, black natural stone slabs and Persian carpets. The house has several rooms but is ideal for two persons. There is a living room with wooden beam ceiling, open fire and a natural stone wall, a meditation room and a conservatory. There is a beautiful handmade pitch-pine kitchen with a wind protected Mediterranean terasse next to the kitchen. The bedrooms comprise of a master bedroom en suite and aguest bedroom which has a single bed.
The grounds also contain a number of outbuildings which can be used for different hobbies and are ideal for an artist. This property also boasts a large garden and is the perfect location to relax and unwind in the beautiful tranquil surroundings and withdraw from fast pace of life.
Please note: There is a utility charge of €80 per week for this property in June/July & August and a charge of €140 per week for all other months. There is also a cleaning charge of €80 payable to this property.
