Doolin is a charming village set against the rugged Atlantic Ocean coastline and surrounded by the spectacular Burren limestone landscape. Long hailed as the traditional music capital of Ireland Doolins traditional pubs, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful setting make it the ideal location to relax and unwind, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Tir gan Ean holiday homes are located in the heart of Doolin, County Clare, on the grounds of the TÌr gan Ean Hotel. The hotel is currently closed however the holiday homes are close to all pubs and restaurants. There are two types of house available, a dormer style and also a two storey house. Each two storey house boasts bright, airy accommodation comprising of living room, separate kitchen/dining room, utility room and three bedrooms; one double room ( ensuite) and one double/single room and one single room; and main bathroom.
Utilities are charged as follows: Gas is charged at a minimum rate of €5 per night for May to Sept inclusive, the electricity charges will be determined by meter reading. For the rest of the year gas is charged at a minimum rate of €8 per night and electricity at a minimum rate of €2 per night. Should the usage exceed the above charges the balance is payable upon departure. In the event where excess gas or electricity charges have not been paid by the client upon departure, we reserve the right to deduct these charges from the security deposit or credit card.
Each dormer house comprises of an open plan kitchen/living/dining room, utility room and three bedrooms; one double room downstairs along with a main bathroom and one double room and one twin room upstairs and another bathroom. There are an abundance of activities to be enjoyed in the area.
Please be advised that cots and high chairs are NOT supplied by this holiday home.

The famous cliffs of Moher are a mere 10 minutes drive while a trip to the Aran Islands from Doolin Pier is a must. There is a beautiful blue flag beach at Fanore (15 minutes drive) and the rugged Burren landscape is a geological wonder waiting to be explored.

The houses are just one hour from Shannon Airport. Take the Northbound road to Ennis, then the N85 to Ennistymon. Go through the town and on towards Doolin and Lisdoonvarna. At the cross roads outside Lisdoonvarna, take a left towards Doolin. After approximately 3 miles, the road opens out to a cross roads with a small petrol pump station, take a right here onto the R479 toward Doolin village.
You will pass Ballyvara house on the right hand side, continue on to the T Junction. At the Junction turn to the right and 200 yards along the road on the right hand side is Tír gan Éan House Hotel. If you are coming via the coast road from the north, follow the signs for Doolin that will take you into the first part of the village, passing McDermott’s and McGann’s pubs. After a third of a mile on the left hand side you will arrive at Tír gan Éan House Hotel.
