Ballylongford House

This detached property is located in the charming village of Ballylongford, Co. Kerry, in an area of historic and natural beauty, beside the estuary of the river Shannon.  On your doorstep you can enjoy the iconic pubs, and shops that this tranquil village has to offer, and visit the remains of a medieval castle and monastery.

The beautiful seaside town of Ballybunion with golden beaches, and world renowned golf course, is only 9 miles away.

Fishing (river and sea) and boating facilities including dolphin watching are a short drive away.

Also within a ten minute drive is the historic town of Listowel, where you can enjoy the Arts and Culture of north Kerry, with festivals such as Writers Week, the beautiful St Johns Theatre, and Listowel Horse Racing Festival.  Other attractions to North Kerry include the town of Tralee for performance arts, and museums, with the famous “Rose of Tralee Festival”. A little further is Dingle with Fungi the Dolphin, and the magnificent Slea Head/Blasket Islands.  If you feel like venturing further you can visit scenic and idyllic South Kerry, Killarney and its many surrounding lakes and mountains.

County Limerick and County Clare are also a short drive away with the car-ferry crossing to Co Clare a few minutes’ drive from the house. There you can visit the award winning tourist attraction of the unspoilt  Loop Head area,  or drive a little further and enjoy  the beauty of North Clare including the Cliffs of Moher , the Burren etc. Galway city is a further 40 minute drive from north Clare.

First floor: 1 x Queen-size double with en-suite bathroom,  shower basin and WC, 1 x single bedroom, 2 x queen-size double bedrooms, shower room with shower, basin and WC.

Ground floor:  Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. There are 2 x queen-size double bedrooms and a fitted kitchen and adjoining dining room and 2 x sitting rooms.


The house has oil central heating with open fire in sitting rooms. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV ,  Broadband,DVD, CD/radio, library of books, DVDs & board games.

Bed linen & towels rent. Cot available if required. There is ample off road parking.  There is a lawn area to side & rear of property that is child friendly. Sorry no pets & no smoking. Not suitable for stag and hen parties.

Security deposit payable on arrival €200, refundable on departure provided the property, and all furnishings and fittings are in order.

6B Riverside Villas

This is a spacious two storey modern luxurious house with the living areas, one bedroom downstairs, one toilet downstairs and the remainder of the bedrooms are upstairs.

There are lovely wooden floors downstairs and the kitchen is an open plan kitchen cum dining area with a separate large utility room.  Double doors lead into the very comfortable sitting room with large couches and a big TV.  There is an open fire which makes this house even more homely and cosy.

There are patio doors leading out to the back garden with patio area and furniture – the perfect place to relax with the morning sunshine reading your book or newspaper. The garden is fenced in but it is important to note that young children would require supervision as it is not fully enclosed at either side.

Upstairs is the master bedroom with king-size bed.  This room is ensuite and has a TV in it. A cot is available upon request.

There are three other bedrooms upstairs, all of which are doubles.  The main family bathroom is also located upstairs and has a jacuzzi bath with a power shower over it.

There is parking for 2 or 3 cars and there is free WIFI throughout.


Shannonside Holiday Home

Shannonside Holiday Home is a semidetached 4 bed house sleeping 6. This house comprises of 2 single bedrooms one downstairs and 2 Double bed rooms.
Located 11 km from Dr. Douglas Hyde Interpretative Centre in Ballaghaderreen, this holiday home features a garden with a barbecue. The holiday home is 11 km from Urlaur Abbey. Free private parking is available on site.

Mountain View Glengarriff

This is a three bedroom holiday home situated in an excellent location and only a few minutes walk to the golf club and a mile to the village centre and the coastline.

The holiday home consists of living room, kitchen and wc on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom & 1 en suite on the 1st storey. The property is built to a high standard and has been well maintained. There is compact yard to the rear and parking to the front.  The house has WIFI available.

Within easy reach of the village and pier this is an ideal spot in Glengarriff considered one of the jewels in the West Cork crown.

Glengarriff is a small seaside village positioned on Ring of Beara surrounded by high rugged mountains pocked with old bogs being farmed for peat. Notable among local attractions are the Italian Gardens on Garnish Island  which may be visited by boat trip.

In the nearby Glengarriff Forest is the glen that gave Glengarriff its name containing some of the oldest and most extensive oak and birch groves left in Ireland. A short but steep trail leads up to Lady Bantry’s Lookout, offering a stunning vista of Glengarriff and the west Cork area.

Also of interest are the Bamboo Park behind Toad Hall, the local amenity area featuring a new child’s playground and Blue Pool lagoon, nearby Barley Lake and the historic Eccles Hotel.

Walking trails in the area are extensive, kayaking on the bay is regularly scheduled, and live music is frequently available in the evenings at local pubs, particularly during the tourist season.

Glengarriff also offers shops, art galleries, pubs, restaurants & other services.

Glengarriff harbour is a very safe and sheltered anchorage and has visitors moorings for visiting yachts.

Ardnagashel Woods

Ardnagashel Woods is situated on the sea between Glengariff and Bantry, and is perfectly placed for touring the beautiful and dramatic South West. The houses are set in woodlands and gardens with magnificent views over Bantry Bay. The Estate has its own pebble beach.

On the ground floor, the holiday homes have an open plan living / dining room with french doors to the kitchen, utility room, double bedroom (ensuite). On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, 1 double (ensuite),2 twin bedrooms and a family bathroom.Bed linen is supplied. There is also one towel per bathroom and one bath towel per person supplied. Additional towels are available to rent at a cost of €1.00 each.

The nearest village Ballylickey is a 10 minute drive and is a typical West Cork village with excellent local restaurants, shops and pubs, including Manning’s Emporium which is a famous landmark on the food trail of West Cork.
Ardnagashel is a great base to tour West Cork and into Kerry, as the houses are located between Glengariff and Bantry.  There are plenty of islands worth visiting in West Cork also, such as Clare Island, Sherkin Island or Bere Island, all of which have a regular ferry service. This beautiful part of the country with its stunning scenery is a tourist’s paradise.

Edgeworth Hall Apartment

The apartment has an open plan kitchen/dining/living room area. The kitchen is fully equipped offering guests every facility needed for a self catering holiday.

There are two bedrooms, one is a double ensuite and the second has a single bunk over double bunk. There is also a family bathroom with shower over bath.

Longford town is within walking distance of the apartment. The apartment is ideal for leisure and corporate bookings and is also ideal for guests returning to the town to visit family.

Longford town has many shops, restaurants and bars so every facility is nearby. It is home to St. Mel’s Cathedral recently renovated after a fire almost destroyed it. The finished Cathedral is exquisite and well worth a visit.

Longford is an ideal central location for anyone interested in exploring Ireland both East and West.

Longford has lots of amenities. For fishing and boating enthusiasts the town is 10 minutes drive from the Shannon River. There are excellent golf courses in the vicinity.

There are some excellent restaurants in the town in the form of Aubergine, Seasons and Black Olive.

Dingle Marina Cottages are comfortable self catering holiday homes offering accommodation in the picturesque town of Dingle, Co. Kerry, Ireland. The location is ideal, overlooking the beautiful harbour and just a 2 minute walk from Dingle Town.
