Ard Carrig Cottages (WCH)

Ard Carraig is a cosy development consisting of eight luxurious holiday homes in a peaceful, country setting. The houses are set back off the quiet Kilmurry road which forms part of the famous Kerry Way walking trail.They are located less than one kilometer from Kenmare town centre and only 500 meters from the local Supervalu shopping centre, LIDL shopping centre and playground.There is a large supermarket, medical centre, chemist, hairdressers, shoe shop and cafe in the shopping centre.

These architecturally designed self-catering houses offer bright, spacious, comfortable rooms, all mod cons and are finished to an extremely high standard. There is a large, bright, fully integrated fitted kitchen/dining area. There is a separate sitting room with an attractive open fire place. There is a TV and DVD player in the sitting room and also in the master bedroom.Each house has secure private parking and there is a private patio area and garden at the rear of each house.

The holiday homes which are laid out in a very attractive courtyard style with spacious open green areas, boast wonderful woodland and mountain views and provide a perfect base from which to explore the famous Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. These lovely 3 bedroomed selfcatering houses are tastefully decorated and sleep 6 comprising of one king size double en suite, one twin room and one double room.

Guests can avail of the leisure facilities every day at the nearby Kenmare Bay Hotel between 12-4pm. The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the holiday homes. The cost is €9.50 for adults and €5.50 for children. Prebooking is advisable during peak season.

Kenmare’s scenic 18 hole golf course is located within 1 km of the holiday homes, preferential green fees available subject to availability from September to March.

From Shannon: Via N18 to Limerick, N21 to Abbeyfeale, N23 to Castleisland, N22 to Farranfore, N71 to Kenmare via Killarney. FROM KILLARNEY (via Molls Gap) On approach into Kenmare go over bridge at Heritage Ctr and take first left and left again. You will pass the Church on left hand side. Continue straight on until you come to Supervalu Shopping Centre. After Supervalu follow sign for ‘Me-Time Beauty Salon’. Continue straight on for 500 metres and houses are located on left hand side.

FROM CORK DIRECTION: As you enter the town on Shelbourne Street turn right at roundabout opposite Post Office. Continue to end of this street. Cross junction at Quills Woollen Market heading towards the Church – you will pass Church on your left hand side. Continue straight on until you come to Supervalu Shopping Centre. After Supervalu follow the sign for Kilmurry Business Park. Continue straight on for 500 metre and houses are located on left hand side.

McGuires Irish Cottages

Steeped in nature, tradition and heritage, McGuire’s Cottages are welcoming holiday accommodation havens with their own story to tell.
Owned by Sinead and Pascal Gillard, the cottages have individual personalised names which add to their wonderful sense of character. McGuire’s Cottages, a complex of eight cottages was built by Sinead’s grandfather in the late seventies with each cottage being named after his eight grandchildren. At the time, McGuire’s was one of the first ever self-catering accommodation businesses set up in Ireland and it is now one of the most popular in Co. Leitrim -attracting visitors from Ireland, UK, Germany,France Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, United States and Australia who come to de-stress, fish and enjoy the relaxed pace of rural life here. French and German are spoken fluently at McGuire’s Cottages.

One cottage has been transformed into an on-site restaurant and a commercial production kitchen for Jinny’s Bakery, a multi award winning business.

These self catering cottages overlook the picturesque Acres Lake, approximately one km from the village of Drumshanbo in Leitrim, the North West of Ireland. There are seven cottages; four which sleep six people and three which sleep four people.

These detached, traditional style cottages all come with a historic half-door, open-hearth fire and flag-stone floor. In contrast to this taste of the past, each also has all the modern conveniences of present-day living.

These modern cottages are situated in the picturesque village of Keel and command stunning views over Keel bay and the spectacular Minaun cliffs. The blue-flag beach is less than 200 metres away and is ideal for a variety of activities including surfing, hang-gliding and kiteboarding. Keel golf course is less than 500 metres away in addition to a stunning lake that boasts a variety of watersports.

These semi detached houses are 3 bedroomed that sleep 6. Master double room with ensuite, 1 double room and 1 Twin Room.

From Dublin: N4 to Edgeworthstown, at Longford bypass roundabout take 2nd exit into bypass. N5 to Castlebar, N59 to Mulrany, R319 to Keel via Achill Sound.
In Keel, the houses are located on the right hand side of the road, approximately 100 metres past the local village shop.

Croan Cottages 2 Bedrooms

Croan Cottages are Four Star, traditional Irish self catering cottages in Kilkenny. The cottages are set around a central courtyard on the grounds of historic Croan House. Croan Cottages offer outstanding accommodation for self catering holidays in Ireland.

Each 2 bedroom cottage has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom as well as a bathroom (with bath and power shower), a living room (with open fire) and a kitchen and dining area.  Although the cottages have a traditional style and are on an old estate, they were built recently and have been furnished to an exceptionally high standard.

The cottages boast all the mod cons one could expect from four star self catering accommodation, including fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, TV and central heating. Each cottage has an open fire in the lounge for Autumn or Winter evenings and direct access to private patio and barbeque area for al fresco dining and lazy summer evenings.

Ar Neamh Beag

Ar Neamh Beag is a three bedroom property in West Cork with stunning views of Bantry Bay on the Sheep’s Head Peninsula providing self catering accommodation near the charming village of Kilcrohane in County Cork.

This fabulous property is set on a large site surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds and is tastefully decorated and well equipped throughout.  West Cork is a magical part of Ireland and is one of the country’s most spectacular and well known holiday destinations.

West Cork is one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland with an extensive coastline, gorgeous beaches and rugged landscape.  There is always plenty to do in West Cork including, walking, golf, deep sea angling, diving and wind surfing. If you are feeling energetic there is a beautiful walk, the Sheep’s Head Way which is a wonderful walking trail where you can enjoy superb views of Bantry Bay and Dunmanus Bay.

The house itself is a three-bed bungalow and fronts directly onto Bantry Bay, providing uninterrupted views of the sea from the front bedrooms, sitting room and dining room. There are 3 bedrooms, one of which is ensuite. All bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and wardrobe. This house has been prepared to make your vacation truly memorable – high end furnishings, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, two cookers, dishwasher, fridge, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dryer, CD/ Radio player, TV and DVD player.

We can supply a cot and high chair on request. There is a TV in the house. Gas central heating and electricity are extra. The house has a solid fuel fireplace.
